kWh is the unit on your bill — the bucket, not the tap.
One kWh is one unit. A 100 W fan for 10 hours is 1 kWh. Your bill is kWh × slab. Solar savings are kWh you no longer import, not kW printed on a box.

What it is
kWh is energy. Battery packs are sold in kWh (5.12 kWh LFP). Usable kWh is nameplate × DoD. Four 200 Ah tubulars are not “8 kWh” if you only discharge half.

How to pull kWh off a bill
